Nestled on over 80 acres in the Canelo Hills, the property sits at over 5000 feet elevation near Parker Canyon Lake and several access points to the Arizona Trail. Shaded by huge oak and juniper trees, the ranch enjoys cool summer temperatures, gorgeous monsoon rains, and even the occasional wintertime snow.
Neighboring communities include Sonoita, AZ (approximate 30 minute drive northwest), Patagonia, AZ (due west as a crow flies, but approximate 45 minute drive north then southwest), and Elgin, AZ (approximate 20 minute drive north).
Wondering why it’s called the Boot and “Racquet” Ranch? In the 1960s a tennis pro from Tucson bought the ranch, built two tennis courts and hosted many famous guests including Bing Crosby and his friends. The guests played tennis, rode horses and enjoyed the outdoors.
